We were tired of choosing between looking good and feeling warm.
So two friends decided to create something they couldn't find themselves: tights that feel warm and comfortable, while still looking polished enough for work, dinner, parties and everything in between.
It started with two friends, one office and one problem.
Meet Olivia and Sophie — two friends who spent their weekdays working side by side and their weekends doing almost everything together.
From early mornings at the office to spontaneous dinners after work, birthday parties, date nights and special occasions, they loved getting dressed up. Dresses, skirts and oversized blazers were part of their everyday wardrobes.
There was only one problem: as soon as temperatures dropped, wearing the outfits they actually loved became a compromise.
At work they wanted to look polished and professional, but the office always seemed to be freezing. Traditional thermal leggings kept them warm but didn't work underneath their favourite dresses and skirts. Regular tights looked better, but offered almost no warmth at all.
And the same problem followed them outside the office.
Dinner with friends. Christmas parties. Events. A night out. Weddings. Even those occasions where you spend an hour putting together the perfect outfit, only to cover everything with layers because it is too cold outside.
They kept asking the same question: why can't tights give us both?

But as they started looking for a solution, they realised warmth wasn't the only problem.
They spoke to women with different bodies, different styles and different insecurities. Some wanted more coverage for visible veins, uneven skin tone or areas they simply preferred not to show through thin tights. Others wanted a little more support around their tummy. Women with fuller figures often struggled to find tights that stretched comfortably without digging in or losing their flattering shape.
And although fleece tights already existed, Olivia and Sophie kept noticing the same frustrating detail: many pairs had two obvious seams running across the back. Under fitted dresses and skirts, those seams could create the appearance of a large underwear line.
They knew there had to be a better way.
That question became the beginning of Sleekbe.
They set out to create fleece-lined tights that could become the invisible foundation of an outfit — soft and warm on the inside, sleek and refined on the outside.
They added smoother coverage for the legs, extra support around the tummy and a cleaner single-seam construction at the back, designed to create a more seamless and flattering look underneath clothing.
Most importantly, they wanted Sleekbe to work with women's bodies rather than expecting women to change their bodies for their clothes.
Something you could wear beneath a skirt to the office in the morning, keep on for dinner afterwards, and still feel confident wearing to a party later that evening.
Because being warm shouldn't mean changing your style. And looking good shouldn't mean being cold.

Finally, a sleeker back.
Fleece tights weren't new. But the double seams found on many pairs were something we couldn't ignore. Under dresses and skirts, they could create an obvious underwear-like outline. Sleekbe uses one clean central back seam for a smoother, more flattering finish.
